Girls Try Kickboxing

The Girls Try Kickboxing Programme is an exciting new 6-week programme in Bray. Led by the incredible Ann Hargaden, a qualified 4th degree Black Belt in kickboxing and self-defence, the course is designed to teach basic kickboxing and martial arts movements for self-defence.

The program has been enthusiastically embraced by the local community and the girls participating. The kickboxing programme is being strongly supported by Sport Ireland, Wicklow LSP, Active Wicklow, and Shoreline Bray. Ann Hargaden has been passionate about helping teenage girls feel empowered for some time. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with the girls who have signed up for the course.

The six-week course has just kicked off and are still taking sign-ups! The programme is for girls aged 12-17 and takes place every Thursday from 6pm to 6.45pm at Shoreline Leisure in Bray. Register for the event here.
