Exercise and physical activity can have a positive impact on mental health and can be especially beneficial for teenage girls. Here are 5 simple tips to help teenage girls improve their mental health through physical exercise and movement.

  1. Take a Walk: Taking a walk is a great way to get moving and clear your mind. Head to the local park or just take a stroll around the neighbourhood. Fresh air and sunshine can be great for your mental health and mood.
  2. Dance It Out: Turn up your favourite tunes and dance it out. Not only is it a great way to get your heart rate up, it’s also a lot of fun! Dancing can be a great way to relieve stress and anxiety.

  4. Get Outside: Get outside and explore. Grab a friend, take a hike or go for a bike ride. Being in nature can be calming and can help reduce stress and anxiety.
